Children's Penny Fund
We
remember the poor
Our
OBC children have collected
pennies to support the
American Baptist Home Mission Society's Penny Project.
While the collection is officially over
pennies continue to come in.
We have reached our goal of 32,586
Extra pennies came in and $300 was delivered Saturday, May 12
to the Spencerport Ecumenical
Food Shelf.
Each penny collected represents a
child living in poverty in Monroe County.

Sunday, May 13, 2012 we began
to receive this special
offering.
At Ogden Baptist we continue to seek
a variety of avenues to help others
throughout the
world.
One of these avenues is the
Church World Service Blankets+ Offering.
Blankets+ is a special
mission providing funds to
help people in need around the world.
Needs arise in the wake of disaster,
as
refugees return to their homes to rebuild,
for wells in drought stricken areas,
and for microcredit to empower
women's lives,
and much more.
This offering will address many needs.
We open our
hearts to the world.

for yourself or for your children.
We meet every Sunday morning,
September through June.
Classes begin at 9:30 am.
